Starting Out To begin, participants will learn how to: open and close Adobe Acrobat; use the Getting Started window; use the interface; open, close, and save files; and find help. Creating PDF Files Next, participants will learn how to create a new PDF file using a variety of methods, work with text, navigate through a PDF file, and create a PDF package. Working With Files This section will focus on using Acrobat's viewing, editing, and window tools. Editing PDF Files Participants will learn how to manage PDF pages, add finishing touches to a file (such as headers and footers), check the spelling of a file, and create links. Participants will also be introduced to the LiveCycle Designer. Advanced Topics In this section, participants will learn how to use a variety of advanced Acrobat features, including collections, review tools, and security tools. Adobe and Other Applications To conclude, participants will learn about Adobe features available in Acrobat Reader, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office.
